We designed a strong visual identity, logo and website for new self catering business, The Black Shed based on the Isle of Skye. The Black Shed is an architectural award winning and Sunday Times listed ‘cool cottage’ that is both contemporary yet sustainable and traditional. They needed a visual presence that reflected this.
An idea was developed based on a litho print and the wood grain of the building materials. This was a HUNTERDAVIES project involving other design and consultancy work. The Black Shed website has seen traffic grow month on month and the Black Shed has been fully booked since opening in January 2011.
We also developed a blog site for The Black Shed.
